We are here to help!  We offer free consultations so we can get to know your concerns, goals for your child, and answer any questions you may have. In our consultation call we will ask you a series of questions that will help us decide if a formal evaluation is recommended. Parents know their children best. It’s never too early OR too late to seek more information about your child’s communication development.

Little Language Lab is a private-pay practice with a fee-for-service model. We are considered out-of-network and are not affiliated with any insurance companies.

Little Language Lab does not serve as a liaison between you and your insurance company, nor as an advocate for reimbursement of services. Provision of a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement from your provider.

Our rates are:

60 minutes - $225

30 minutes - $150

We accept payment by credit card via Ivy Pay, or by check made payable to Little Language Lab Speech Therapy Inc.. At your request, we will provide a monthly receipt of services (superbill) which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

A superbill is also called a receipt of services. It is a document that shows a list of services you received from us with applicable codes and diagnoses. A superbill is available upon request and may help you secure reimbursement from your insurance provider for out-of-network costs depending on your plan. Here are some great questions to ask prior to initiating services:

• Do I have an out-of-network deductible to meet first?
• Do I have out-of-network speech therapy benefits?
• Am I eligible to receive direct reimbursement from the insurance company for my speech therapy visits?
• What percentage of the money I paid at my speech therapy visit will you, the insurance company, reimburse?
• Do I need to obtain a pre-authorization prior to initiating services?

All new clients require an assessment or screening before starting services, this is particularly important if you would like to be reimbursed for services through your insurance provider. We may accept assessments from another SLP if they are dated within the last 6 months. 

Private speech therapy and school-based speech therapy can differ in how children are eligible for services, the model for service delivery (school-based therapy is often in a group setting, while private treatment is often 1:1), and dosage of services. Our practice is mobile (we come to you!) which is convenient and great for focusing on parent-powered intervention. • Early intervention (18 months through age 3)
• Developmental language disorder
• Gestalt language processors, we are natural language acquisition (NLA) trained
• Receptive (understanding) and expressive (using) language delays without a diagnosis of DLD
• Childhood apraxia of speech 
• Other speech sound disorders

If you are not sure if your child is a good fit for our practice please schedule a consultation call so we can discuss together. We do not currently provide services for stuttering, voice, feeding challenges or dysphagia, and children with language delays over the age of 6 (we are happy to support all children with speech sound disorders). If we can’t serve your child, we will do our best to connect you with a provider who can.
